Denim Day 2025 is a worldwide marketing campaign held yearly on the final Wednesday of April to lift consciousness about sexual violence and to help survivors.
By carrying denim on at the present time, people present their solidarity with victims of sexual assault and show their dedication to ending sexual violence. Denim Day was first began in 1999 after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Courtroom that overturned a rape conviction as a result of the sufferer was carrying tight denims, implying that she had consented to intercourse. In response to this ruling, ladies within the Italian Parliament wore denims to work in protest, and Denim Day was born.
