It was launched on April 22, 2003, by Blackground Data and Common Data. The album’s title was chosen by her brother Rashad Haughton and mom Diane Haughton, and it options visitor appearances from rappers Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, and DMX.
The album acquired typically optimistic critiques from music critics, who praised Aaliyah’s vocals and the album’s manufacturing. It debuted at primary on the US Billboard 200 chart, and has been licensed platinum by the Recording Trade Affiliation of America (RIAA).
