The time period “sundown January 1, 2025” refers back to the date on which the Medicare Shared Financial savings Program (MSSP) will expire. The MSSP is a voluntary program that permits eligible clinicians and hospitals to type Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) to offer coordinated care to Medicare beneficiaries.
